South London-born,Brighton-based artist Bklava makes “non-stop bops and flava” you can’t help but groove to. Her multi-disciplinary talents – she sings, writes, produces and DJs – offer a sense of artistry more commonly seen in established industry veterans.Singer-songwriters like FKA twigs,ImogenHeap and Amy Winehouse, alongside producers/DJs like MJ Cole, Kaytranada and Disclosure, informing her heartfelt, sing-along vocal bops meet electronic-led bangers approach. Bklava, much like her reference points, always eager to keep soul at the fore front.
